Dr. Aguiar is originally from Troy, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science. He then attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Moving to Chicago, Dr. Aguiar completed four years of Ob/Gyn residency training at Rush-Presbyterian- St. Luke's Medical Center, serving as Administrative Chief Resident.

He is a licensed physician and surgeon in the State of Illinois and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology since 1998. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and is currently serving as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva, IL. He has been with DuKane Obstetrics & Gynecology since 2000. He is married to Julie, a mechanical engineer, and has two sons.

Practice Philosophy:

The relationship between doctor and patient should be one of mutual collaboration and respect. He emphasizes preventative health care, and believes that patient education with plenty of time for questions and answers is the key to good medical care.
